The viaduct that connects the Speyside Way to the village of Garmouth over the river Spey is currently closed due to structural damage. This closure will remain in place for the foreseeable future.
The nearest alternative crossing is located approximately 3 miles upstream at Fochabers, either via the old road bridge, which is now for pedestrian use only, or via the pavement alongside the A96 road bridge.
